Detailed Health Screen (60 minutes)

What does it involve?

A One Hour consultation with an EdgCARE Health Screening GP which includes a review of your Past Medical History, Full Examination, Blood Pressure, Body Mass Index and urine analysis. Testicular, hernia and prostate examination is also offered.

What tests are included?

Blood Tests: Full Blood Count, Kidney Function, Liver Function, Uric Acid, Bone Profile, Cholesterol Profile and Diabetes Screen, Thyroid Function, Iron Levels, PSA Prostate Cancer Screening test. 

Resting ECG: Heart tracing 

What tests are not included?

Doesn't include a Bowel Cancer screening stool test or a testosterone level. These tests can be added on to your screen should you wish - please see below. 

How much does it cost?

The cost is £495 and this includes the full assessment, all your tests and a telephone phone call with your health check GP to discuss your results and give you next day feedback. You will also receive a letter with your results and an action plan about any important next steps. The cost of any referral letters is also included. 

How do I book?

Simply click on the "Book Online Now" widget on the left hand side of the screen and select your Health Screen, your doctor along with the date and time of your choosing.

Can I add on any other tests?

Other blood tests and a bowel cancer screening stool test can be added onto this package. Please make sure you are happy with any additional costs before you proceed - please see below where you can click on common "add on" tests.
